and me

« Judy Garland started her career singing Over the rainbow, and ended her life her head in the loo » : I’ve always been fascinated by the gap between what movie industry has created artistically and destoyed psychologically. The show delves into that paradox with humour, halfway between a piano-voice recital (performing jewels from Hollywood movies) and a stand up show (with historical as well as personal anecdotes).
"In the english speaking world, when you get a role, you get a contract. In France, when you get a role, you get a "cachet". Working in show business today in Paris might be closer to asburd than tragic. Through personal anecdotes, I wanted to look differently at the dreams and hopes of Musicals singers.
This new yorker cabaret show with french touch invites the audience to remember some of the greatest scenes of Hollywood movies, while keeping a eye on behind. There’s no business like show business!
